Sitting at the top of Panasonic's entry-level NV-GS line, the NV-GS60 is a fully loaded model, designed for the needs of the enthusiast and first-timer alike. The NV-GS60 contains a 30x optical zoom lens for unprecedented imaging power and shooting versatility.
Additional features include a PhotoShot digital still capability, and a navigation system that can be managed with a one-finger joystick for maximum efficiency in tight shooting conditions. The NV-GS60 also includes a built-in LED light, high-speed USB 2.0 connection and a electronic image stabilization system.

One-Finger Menu Navigation
The thumb wheel allows you to access basic options like JPEG playback and tape recording quickly. A separate joystick allows for deeper navigation of menu features and camera controls.

Progressive PhotoShot Mode
This feature helps to eliminate fuzziness by capturing the image and then temporarily storing the image in two separate fields. The two images of the exact same moment are then combined, with no time lag, to produce images of better quality than standard recorded stills.
Cinema Mode
The NV-GS60 allows you to record video in widescreen mode, giving you a 16:9 aspect ratio. When played back on a television, the result is dramatic looking cinema-like movies at home.
Zoom Mic
As you zoom in on the picture, the audio will also zoom in so you can better pinpoint sound sources.
